Superintendent Kenrid Neely was born on 8 November 1968, in the quiet settlement of The Bluff South Andros to the proud parents of Mr. Lofton and Francita Neely.

Kenny as he is affectionately known decided to join the Royal Bahamas Police Force after graduating from high school in 1987, shortly thereafter I was posted to the Security and Intelligence Branch where I spent more than 25 years. I was transferred from the Security and Intelligence Branch to the Uniform Branch at the rank of Inspector during 2012.

My career provided me with extensive training locally and internationally in anti terrorist, anti piracy, personal protection and intelligence led policing. I have provided personal protection for many foreign and local VIP's.

I have been instrumental in overseeing the foreign electoral possess of several general elections.

I have also worked as the crime manager for the Eastern Division from 2012 to 2013, then in charge of the Tourism Policing Division from 2013 to 2015. I was transferred to the Carmichael Road Police Station from 2015 to 2018, and then to the Family Island Division from June 2018 to present. At present I am the commander of the San Salvador and Rum Cay Division.

During my journey in this noble organization, the Royal Bahamas Police Force, I was privileged to be a recipient of the medal for good conduct and long service and the medal for meritious service.
I am single and the proud father a 22 year old daughter and a 12 year old son.
