FOUR MALES ARE IN POLICE CUSTODY FOR BEING IN POSSESSION OF AMMUNITION
The crime fighting strategies implemented by the Royal Bahamas Police Force, have resulted in the arrest of four males for being in possession of ammunition on Monday 25th, January 2021.

Preliminary reports indicate that shortly after 2:00 p.m., officers from the Operations Unit executed a search warrant on a residence located Dudley Lane. During the search, the officers found a box that (50) fifty .40 unfired rounds of ammunition. As a result, four male suspects were arrested and taken into custody. Investigations into this matter.

POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING A STABBING INCIDENT
Police on the island of New Providence are investigating a stabbing incident that occurred on Monday 25th, January 2021. A female is detained in hospital in serious condition.

Preliminary reports are that sometime before 7:00 p.m., police received reports of a stabbing incident that occurred at a residence in Sir Lynden Pindling Estate. Officers responded and on their arrival, inquires revealed that two females were involved in an altercation which resulted in one of the females being stabbed in the chest with a sharp object. The suspect fled the scene in a gray vehicle. The victim was transported to the hospital in a private vehicle. She is listed in stable condition. Investigation into this matter continues.
