JUVENILE MALE ARRESTED REFERENCE TO ARMED ROBBERY
Police are questioning a juvenile male in connection with an alleged armed robbery that took place on Saturday, 26th April, 2025, at an establishment on Gladstone Road.
According to the preliminary report, sometime 10:30 p.m., the victim was confronted by a male suspect allegedly armed with a sharp object who robbed him of his jewelry. Officers from the Western Police Station responded to the scene, where they searched a 15-year-old male and discovered the suspected stolen jewelry in his possession. As a result, he was cautioned and arrested in reference to this matter. The investigation continues.
POLICE CONFISCATED ILLEGAL FIREARM
On Saturday, 26th April, 2025, officers attached to Operation Black Scorpion confiscated a firearm along with a quantity of ammunition in the area of Fire Trail Road.
According to the initial report, sometime around 4:30 p.m., officers acting on information received proceeded to a property where they searched a bushy area and confiscated a firearm along with a quantity of ammunition. No arrests were made. The investigation continues.
RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE ALERT
The following vehicles were recovered on Saturday, 26th April, 2025:
- A silver 2013 Nissan Cube L/P #AV7030 – reported stolen on Friday, 25th April, 2025, in Faith Gardens.
- A grey 2013 KIA Rio L/P #AJ9604 – reported stolen on Friday, 18th April, 2025, during an armed robbery off West Bay Street.
