UPDATE ON REPORTED MISSING PERSONS
The Royal Bahamas Police Force wishes to inform the public that seven out of the nine individuals who were reported missing since Saturday, 29th March 2025, are now home safely and in good health. However, the following two (2) individuals are still outstanding.
- Daniel Thenor D.O.B 9/5/1940, who was reported missing since Saturday 29th March 2025.
- Milani Smith 14/01/2008, who was reported missing since Sunday 30th March 2025.
The investigation continues to locate these individuals.

SEARCH UNDERWAY FOR TWO MISSING MEN AT SEA
Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating two men, aged 35 and the other age unknown, who reportedly went missing at sea.
Officers at Bullock’s Harbour Police Station received a report shortly before 9:00 a.m. on Thursday,3rd April 2025, that two men were onboard a white, blue, and red 18-foot Paramount vessel that had left the Berry Islands enroute to Chub Cay on Wednesday, 2nd April 2025.
In response, the Royal Bahamas Police Force, the Royal Bahamas Defense Force, BASRA, local fishermen and volunteers have conducted sea and aerial searches for the missing men but to no avail. Currently, due to the unfavorable weather conditions, the search has been suspended until the conditions improve.
Safety Tips
If someone goes missing, immediately contact police @ 919/ 911 or Criminal Investigations @ 502-9991/2 and prepare to provide a recent photo, a description of the missing person, their last known location, and any relevant information. Also, search the area they were last seen, check local hospitals, and consider leaving descriptions with local transportation services.
