POLICE CONFISCATED AMMUNITION
On Monday, 24th March 2025, shortly before 4:00 p.m., officers attached to Operation Black Scorpion confiscated a quantity of ammunition and suspected dangerous drugs.
According to the initial report, officers while acting on information received, searched a bushy area on Rosedale Street off Mackey Street, where they confiscated a quantity of ammunition and suspected Marijuana. No arrests were made. The estimated weight of the suspected Marijuana is eleven (11) ounces, with a street value of $1000.00.

POLICE INVESTIGATE STABBING INCIDENT
Police on the island of Grand Bahama launched an investigation on Monday, 24th March 2025, into a stabbing incident that involved two males, ages 44 and 26 years old, requiring medical attention.
Police were alerted of this incident shortly after 7:00 p.m., when a male presented himself to the Central Police Station with visible injuries, claiming to have been stabbed by a male known to him at his residence on Gordon Avenue. As a result, officers followed him to the hospital where they discovered another male who sustained injuries.
According to the preliminary report, one of the men returned to the mentioned address to collect the rest of his belongings after being asked to leave the property on 23rd March 2025. As a result, he got into a verbal and physical altercation with the property owner, where both men sustained multiple stab wounds about the body from a sharp object requiring medical attention. Their condition was last listed as stable but serious.

POLICE INVESTIGATE ATTEMPTED SUICIDE
Police are investigating an alleged suicide attempt by a 45-year-old male that took place at a residence on Guana Cay, Abaco, on Monday, 24th March 2025.
According to initial reports, a female caller alerted police to the incident shortly before noon. Officers responded and discovered the victim inside the home lying down. It is alleged that the victim ingested a large quantity of over-the-counter medication. As a result, he was transported to the clinic for medical attention and further evaluation.
Investigation continues.
