NEW PROVIDENCE
DEATH INVESTIGATION
On Thursday, 13th February 2025, police launched an investigation into a death that occurred at Wilson Tract, off Wulff Road.
According to initial reports, officers from the Fire Department responded to a structural fire shortly before 5:00 p.m. and discovered heavy smoke emanating from the building. Upon entry, they found an unresponsive adult male inside who was severely burned. Emergency Medical Services personnel attended the scene but found no vital signs of life.
RECOVERED & STOLEN VEHICLE ALERT

The vehicle listed below was recovered on Thursday, 13th February 2025:
- A silver 2008 Nissan Tiida L/P #AY9711 – recovered on Pinecone Avenue, off Buttonwood Avenue. It was reported stolen on Wednesday, 12th February 2025, from Bethel Avenue.

Police seek the public’s assistance in locating the following stolen vehicles:
- A black Nissan Juke – reported stolen on Thursday, 13th February 2025, from Ashford Drive.
- A white Nissan March L/P #AE7818 – reported stolen on Thursday, 13th February 2025, from Poet Drive, Sea Beach Estates.
- A silver 2012 Nissan March L/P #AX7382 – reported stolen on Thursday, 13th February, 2025, from Blue Hill Heights.
- A white 2012 Nissan March L/P #AX5414 – reported stolen on Thursday, 13th February, 2025, from Shirley Street.
- A white 2022 Honda CR-V L/P $AX5484 – reported stolen on Thursday, 13th February, 2025, from Boyd Road, Chippingham.
- A brown 2011 Nissan Cube L/P #AV6877 – reported stolen on Friday, 14th February 2025, from Thompson Avenue, Stapledon Gardens.
