Privy Council Visit & Guard of Honour Inspection

On Monday 20th February, 2017 Bahamians stopped and looked as Parade Commander of the Guard of Honour, Superintendent Anthony Curtis and the Royal Bahamas Police Force Band directed by Superintendent Dennis Sturrup paraded from Police Headquarters to Shirley and Charlotte Streets to be inspected by Lord Mance, member of the Privy Council.

Commissioner of Police, Ellison Greenslade and his Executive Assistant was also present with Lord Mance as he walked the ranks to witness the 'brillant turn-out' of the twenty-eight men bearing arms.Although the inspection of the guard was very brief, Lord Mance used the opportunity to communicate with a few of the officers.

Lord Mance along with the other four Law Lords: Reed, Kerr, Sumption and Lord Hughs are on a special visit to sit as the Privy Council in The Bahamas.
