Remembrance Day Road Closure Information

Remembrance Day is being observed on Sunday 12 November, 2017. A service
will be held at Christ Church Cathedral at 11:00 a.m., followed by a service at the
Cenotaph in the Garden of Remembrance at 12:15 p.m.

The following Traffic Regulations will be in effect on this day:

ROAD CLOSURE:
From 10:00 a.m. until after the service at the Cathedral, the following streets will be closed to vehicular traffic.

George Street between Bay and Duke Street;
From 12:00 noon until after the procession passes from the Cathedral and the
Ceremony at the Cenotaph, the following streets will be closed to vehicular
traffic.

Duke Street between Cumberland and Market Streets;

Princess Street between Fredrick and Market Streets;

Shirley Street between Fredrick and East Streets;

Parliament Street between East Hill and Bay Streets;

Bank Lane between Shirley and Bay Streets;
At the commencement of the services, vehicular traffic will be diverted through side streets.

NO PARKING AREAS
From 7:00 a.m. until after the service, no vehicles will be permitted to park on the
following streets.

George Street between Bay and Duke Streets; Both sides

Parliament Street between East Hill Street and Woodes Rodgers Wharf;
both sides

Bank Lane between Shirley and Bay Streets; Both sides
