Police officers of the National Crime Prevention Office and the Central Division were on Mason's Addition area, conducting a walk about, particularly in the area of a recent homicide days earlier.

The officers provided the residents of the area with various safety pamphlets advising them on how to manage conflict and how to protect their homes and properties.

This initiative was led by Chief Superintendent of Police Patrick Johnson; the officer in charge of the Central Division, and is consistent with the Commissioner's Policing Plan on Reducing the Fear of Crime and Restoring and Maintaining Public Confidence.
