217 Drivers Cited and 6 Arrested During Police Operation

Consistent with the Commissionerís Policing Plan for 2017, police conducted an island-wide operation in New Providence on Tuesday 25th July 2017.

The operation targeted wanted persons and drivers who were in breach of the rules of the road. A total of 217 drivers were ticketed for various violations and three (6) persons were arrested for outstanding court warrants. Police wish to reassure members of the public, that they are utilizing all resources to ensure that individuals who continue to be engaged in criminal activities are arrested and brought to justice.
