San Salvador Youth Band Visits Police Headquarters in New Providence

On Thursday 20th July, 2017, thirteen (13) members of San Salvador Youth Band under the leadership of Band Director Corporal #3404 Cash and assisted by Inspector Sawyer and Constable #1638 Moultrie visited Police Headquarters in New Providence.

They were greeted by Corporal #2198 Munroe of the National Crime Prevention Office who took them on a brief tour of the compound.

While there, they visited the Police Control Room, where Sergeant Woodside gave them a brief history of control room and then Mobile Division, where Superintendent of Police D. Robinson; Officer in Charge of the area gave a short description of the operation of the police patrol vehicles.

Additionally, Constable Henry of Fire Services displayed some of the equipment and answered questions on the role of a fire fighter.

They also saw Assistant Commissioners of Police T. Cunningham, E. Ferguson and C. Fernander as well as Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police Stephen Dean who encouraged them to continue to do well and be productive citizens for they are our future leaders.
