Police Fire Services Conduct Fire Safety Training at Scotia Bank Corporate Center

In keeping with the Commissioner's Policing Plan on the Prevention and Detection of crime, Corporal #3146 Ryan McPhee conducted a fire safety lecture and a fire extinguisher live burn training sessions with eighteen (18) staff members of various branches of Scotiabank throughout the Bahamas.

The training was conducted on Thursday 13th July, 2017 at the Scotiabank Corporate Office. The staff learnt about evacuation procedures, fire marshall training, hazards within the workplace and classes of fires just to mention a few. After the lecture was conducted the staff members got an opportunity to extinguish a live Class B fire.

The staff expressed their gratitude of learning how they could better protect their lives and property if an untimely fire were to occur.
