Police Officers Recognized for Exemplary Service to the Force

Officers of all ranks of the Royal Bahamas Police Force were invited to Government House on Monday 6th February, 2017 to be awarded police medals by Her Excellency Dame Marguerite Pindling, Governor-General of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas.

The Award Ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday March 8, 2017 at 11:00am.
Medals are being awarded on the following merit:

Gallantry - for those who have performed acts of great courage in extreme danger.

Meritorious Service - for those who have performed distinguished service characterized by devotion to duty, including prolonged service marked by exceptional ability, merit and conduct.

Long Service and Good Conduct - for those who have completed eighteen years of continuous service and who have not been the subject of specified punishments arising from disciplinary proceedings
