Public Affairs and Communications Department

The Public Affairs and Communication Department is responsible for media relations for the Force and acts as the liaison between the Force and the media inclusive of local, national and international.

The Public Affairs and Communications Officer is responsible for the release of accurate and timely information regarding the activities of the Force and crime news around the Bahamas to the news media (broadcast and print) and the public.

The New Providence office is located at Police Headquarters, East Street North at the the National Crime Prevention Office and is open to handle media calls between 6:00am and 9:00 pm Monday through Friday.

The Freeport Grand Bahama office is located at Police Headquarters and is open to handle media calls between 6:00am and 9:00pm Monday through Friday.
